Basement Waterproofing for Residential Towers
The Towers project in northern Ashdod comprises two residential towers with 282 housing units. Its location near the groundwater required precise waterproofing works to ensure a dry parking area for many years to come. As part of the project, BG Bond implemented two advanced waterproofing systems in the -4 parking level, spanning approximately 5,000 sqm.
In the first stage, the company applied conventional waterproofing by installing an HDPE crystalline sheet system that bonds to the concrete to create a fully sealed structure. In the second stage, diaphragm walls were cast with crystalline waterproofing additives applied to the pile heads. BG Bond oversaw the process from the initial raft slab casting at -4 level through to ground level, ensuring full compliance with the specifications set by the developer.
In addition, BG Bond was awarded the finishing works contract and will supply the project with a wide range of high-quality finishing products.
