Concrete Additives for a Project Adjacent to the Yarkon River
The 44-story tower spans 100,000 sqm and is located along the banks of the Yarkon Park, at the intersection of four major cities: Tel Aviv, Petah Tikva, Bnei Brak, and Ramat Gan. The project’s proximity to the Yarkon River posed significant waterproofing challenges, as the tower’s walls border the river and the water pressure required the creation of a high-quality membrane to protect all systems on site.
BG Bond supplied 4,500 cubic meters of high-quality Kryton concrete additives and took part in the casting of 14,000 cubic meters of concrete over an 18-dunam area. The pour, carried out with eight pumps over three consecutive days, posed a significant challenge, requiring detailed logistical planning. This included coordination between concrete mixer trucks arriving from multiple plants across central Israel, as well as strict quality control to ensure the concrete was delivered fresh and in optimal condition for casting.
